Zachary Grubaugh
Zac Grubaugh is a trial attorney at Broughton Injury Law, specializing in personal injury and wrongful death cases slated for trial in federal or state court. Zac is known for his zealous advocacy, meticulous attention to detail, and deep compassion for his clients.
After law school, Zac spent nearly seven years in the Marine Corps as a Marine Judge Advocate, primarily serving as a criminal prosecutor. During this period, he fervently pursued justice for sexual assault victims, handling the most serious offenses and maintaining justice within the armed forces. Zac successfully brought over 130 assigned criminal cases to resolution and left the Marine Corps as a Captain with an honorable discharge.
Following his military service, Zac returned to Virginia and worked for over four years as a civil litigation trial attorney for the City of Richmond, before turning to practicing personal injury law.
