Rachel Yates

After graduating from the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond Law School, magna cum laude, Rachel Yates completed a prestigious clerkship in the Henrico Circuit Court. She went on to become a trial lawyer and an appellate attorney, specializing in Virginia appeals.
Rachel worked in the Criminal Appeals section of the Attorney General’s Office, and continues to represent the state on appeal when she worked as an in-house counsel for Virginia ABC.
Rachel is a member of the Virginia State Bar’s appellate practice, administrative law, and criminal law divisions. She is also a member of the Metro Richmond Women’s Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and Richmond Bar Association.
